Ukrainian Ministry of Foreign Affairs waits for immediate from Russian Federation to release pilot and MP Nadia Savchenko.
MFA spokesperson Eugene Perebiynis informed this during press briefing in Kyiv.
According to him, Ukrainian milistry expects that Russian Federation hears demands of all international community and its own people and take immediate steps to release Nadia Savchenko.
According to her deputy Mark Feigin and Illya Novikov, Nadia Savchenko has got serious health problems after 80 days of hunger strike. She drinks only and water and has problems with her organs. Despite her difficult state and request by Ukrainian consul this woman refuses to stop her hunger strike.
According to Mr. Perebiynis, today the issue is not about liberation of Savchenko but about saving her life. ‘In these conditions absence of any reaction from Russian government is a crime’, – the spokesperson said.
According to him, responsibility for life of Nadia fully lies on Russia which has been holding her for more than 8 months already without providing evidence of her guilt.
Recently Basmanny Court of Moscow prolonged term of Savchenko’s arrest until May 13.
