Ukrainian authorities have evidence that terrorists in eastern Ukraine are financed by former president Viktor Yanukovych

According to the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Pavlo Klimkin said the latter in interview to Austrian newspaper Die Presse.
“We have a lot of evidence that former President Yanukovych supports terrorists. We also press the Russian side to block these sources of funding,”- he said.
The minister said that in recent days aid has increased: there are recruiting centers functioning in Rostov-on-Don, terrorists again get heavy military equipment.
“Yesterday I informed the ministers of EU member states: in Rostov one can just call a certain number and enroll. This must be stopped. Otherwise, we have no chance of de-escalation,”- Klimkin said.
He noted that the position of the Ukrainian side lies in the need of the local elections earlier that the specified period of time.
“Then people can choose their representatives. According to the new draft of Constitution, in the future, citizens are required to determine their governors. Local communities also need to have more power. Additionally, Russian language may be introduced to governmental structires, if necessary. Political issues should be solved by this package, “- Klimkin said.
