Ukraine will impose sanctions against Russia in October

The Ministry Cabinet of Ukraine plans to impose sanctions against Russia in October. The sanctions will be imposed against Russian citizens and businesses that support Russia’s aggression against Ukraine. This is stated in the national restoration plan that was presented by Prime Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk on Tuesday, September 2.

Sanctions against Russian federation are included in section on Overcoming of Russian Aggression. ‘In October – impose sanctions against the aggressor, Russian citizens and businesses that support Russia’s aggression against Ukraine’, – it is said in the document.

The section on Overcoming of Russian Aggression also includes accepting of new defense doctrine where Russia would be designated as aggressor, creation of ‘wall’ at the border with Russian federation, rejection of non-aligned status, filing lawsuits against the aggressor, obtaining of special status of NATO special partner and key ally of the USA, and also receiving of military and technical help from the Group of Seven, EU and NATO.
