Ukraine didn’t stop supplying electricity to Crimea

‘Krymenergo’ doesn’t confirm information about cessation of electricity supplies to the peninsula.

Unian with reference to the Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine informs that Crimean peninsula keeps getting electricity from the mainland Ukraine.

Both sides – Ukrainian and Crimean – confirm that there has been no info about cessation of supplies.

Electricity is supplied to the peninsula in accordance with the current contract.

Previously media with reference to Ministry of Energy of Russian Federation informed about plans of Ukrainians side to suspend delivery of electricity to Crimea.

On December 30, 2014 Ukraine and Russian Federation concluded agreements on supply of electricity from Russian to Ukraine and From mainland Ukraine to annexed Crimea.
