Week review by coordinator of ‘Information Resistance’ group Dmytro Tymchuk. Most important events for October 6-12.
This is not the first time from the beginning of the war that Putin gives such orders. Previously such withdrawal resulted in mysterious increasing of number of Russian militants and weapon at Ukrainian territory.
However, this time experts of ‘Information Resistance’ group observe partial withdrawal of Russian troops from Ukrainian territory. This inspires optimism. Currently there are only reconnaissance and sabotage groups of Russian special forces and narrow specialists from Russian servicemen included into terrorist groups that continue to fight in the Donbas.
It is clear that nobody believes in peacefulness of Putin – one has to be complete oligophrenic to believe in it. However, knowing that Moscow will not be able to quickly increase number of its troops in Donbas, we will be able to define number of troops that is necessary to keep the defense of the region (until Kyiv decide to take active measures). And then we will just keep an eye on the border with Russian Federation for new Russian ‘trainings’.
