KYIV, March 17 /Ukrinform/. The Verkhovna Rada today should adopt the Law of Ukraine “On the Approval of the President’s Decree “On Partial Mobilization”.
Verkhovna Rada Chairman, acting President of Ukraine Oleksandr Turchynov said this at a plenary session of the parliament on Monday.
Turchynov called today’s meeting “very responsible , given the danger of direct military invasion , continuing aggression in the Autonomous Republic of Crimea , which Russia plans or tries to cover up with a fake farce called “referendum” that will never be recognized either in Ukraine or the entire civilized world.”
The acting president noted that, considering all the circumstances, he had signed a decree “On Partial Mobilization”, which comes into force after adoption by the Verkhovna Rada, and noted that the question of its approval is proposed to be considered first.
The parliament should also consider the draft laws amending some laws of Ukraine concerning service in the military reserve and on amendments to the Law of Ukraine “On the State Budget of Ukraine for 2014” to finance the priority needs of the Armed Forces and the National Guard, Turchynov said.
