On July 25 in Voronezh court there will be a trial on Ukrainian pilot Nadia Savchenko.
This has been informed by Savchenko’s lawyer Mykola Polozov in his Twitter.
‘The trial concerning the case of Savchenko will take place on July 25 at 11 am in the room 519 of Voronezh regional court. Nadia must be delivered to the court’, – he writes.
As it was informed on July 17 Savchenko had declared her wish to participate in the trial that will concern her complaint of arrest.
Ukrainian pilot also addressed the Investigate Committee of Russia to open a criminal case concerning her kidnapping.
Information: Military Pilot Nadia Savchenko was captured by terrorists in the ATO zone in Eastern Ukraine in mid June. Soon it turned out the she was kept under arrest in Russia. There she was accused of involvement in the deaths of Russian TV journalists who cad illegally came to Ukrainian territory as part of group of militants to work on their attacks ant Ukrainian militants.
Russian investigators claim that Savchenko was arrested after she herself had come to Russia ‘without documents and under the guise of a refugee’. Ukrainian government declares that Savchenko has been kidnapped by terrorists and given to Russian government.
Criminal investigation on abduction of Savchenko has been opened in Ukraine.
Russian court has arrested Savchenko until September 9. She’s being kept in jail in Voronezh.
