As it was informed earlier, military pilot Nadia Savchenko had been captured by terrorists in the ATO zone in the East of Ukraine in mid-June. Last week it was found out that she was kept under arrest in Russia. There she was accused of involvement in the death of Russian TV journalists who had come to Ukraine with group of fighters and would report on their attacks at Ukrainian militaries.

Russian investigators claimed that Ukrainian pilot was detained after she had come to Russia ‘without documents and under the guise of refugee’.

Ukrainian authorities declared that Nadia Savchenko was kidnapped by terrorists in Donbas and then transported to Russian authorities. A criminal case on abduction of Nadia Savchenko has been started in Ukraine.
