As a result of intensive shelling of the border 17 Ukrainian soldiers who had received injuries of varying severity were transported for medical care to Russian territory, one of National Guard soldier was killed.
According to UNIAN correspondent this has been reported today by spokesman for the National Security Council information center Andriy Lysenko at a briefing in Kyiv.
‘Yesterday due to intensive terrorist shelling in the area of the state border close to checkpoints Kuybysheve and Gukovo 17 Ukrainian soldiers who had received injures of varying severity were transformed to Russian territory to be given medical care. This made possible to save their lives’, – he said.
‘Unfortunately, one soldier of the National Guard has died this morning’, – Lysenko added. According to him government is doing everything possible to return Ukrainians to their Motherland.
