Gazeta.ua: This opinion was expressed by Adviser to the Minister of Internal Affairs Anton Heraschenko on air of channel 5. Heraschenko, in particular, noted that everything that Putin does in Ukraine aimed primarily at preserving his power in Russia.
‘His goal is to make sure that the Russians do not see how Ukraine is becoming a European, democratic, rich country’, – said the adviser of the Interior Ministry. However, he believes that while in Ukraine there is a war, our country will not be taken to the EU. ‘While we’re having ATO, we will not be given visa-free entry to Europe. That is what Putin’s policies are aimed at,’ – said Heraschenko.
