Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine adopted a decision on Engineering and Technical improvement of State Border with Russian Federation

According to an UNIAN correspondent the news was informed by Cabinet Minister Ostap Semerak at a press briefing after a meeting of the government.
“There has been taken a decision on specific steps to improve the safety and Ukrainian state border in the area between Ukraine and the Russian Federation”, – said Semerak.
At the same time answering the clarifying questions from reporters Cabinet minister said that the title of the decisionwas “On Engineering and Technical Improvement of State Border” and did not disclose the details of the document, citing his privacy.
As UNIAN reported earlier on June 16, the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine decided to establish engineering structures to protect the border of Ukraine with Russia.
“There has been adopted a decision on the construction of engineering structures along our border and urgent measures for the exploration for neutralization of saboteurs who are on the territory of Ukraine”, – said the NSDC Secretary Andrew Parubiy.
He said the National Security Council instructed the Cabinet to organize a one-sided demarcation of the Ukrainian-Russian border to ensure its necessary engineering and technical arrangement according to the present level of threat to national security.
Overall length of the land part of the Ukrainian-Russian border is about 1975 miles.
