At least 150 Ukrainians are held hostages by terrorists in Donbas.
According to UNIAN correspondent this was reported by authorised agent of the President of Ukraine concerning the peaceful settlement of the conflict in Donetsk and Lugansk regions, deputee from the ‘Udar’ party Iryna Gerashchenko.
In accordance to data of our special services 150 Ukrainians are held hostages today. 42 of them are representatives of Armed Forces, 2 policemen, 3 frontier guards, the remaining part consists of civilians. But these are only those people we know about, this number could be bigger’, – Gerashchenko said.
She underlined that the peace plan of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko demands ‘immediate and unconditional release of all hostages without blackmail’.
As UNIAN reported earlier on Luly 9 fighters kidnapped more than 10 inhabitants of Donetsk and Lugansk regions, also there were stolen more than 20 cars of citizens and enterprises of the region.
