Spokesperson for Information and Analysis Center for National Security and Defense Council colonel Andriy Lysenko informed this during daily press briefing in Kyiv.
The situation in the city of Donetsk remains extremely tense.
Terrorist don’t stop shelling residential districts of the city. In particular, during the last day 3 civilians were killed by shelling, 4 were injured. In addition, shelling resulted in destruction and fires in dwelling houses on three streets in the city.
Journalist of hromadske.tv Katya Sergatskova shot the video below. She has visited one of bomb shelters in Donetsk city. The bomb shelter is located in Petrovskiy district, local residents have been living there for several months already. There are old people and children.
A teenager Kolia led the journalist. According to him, people moved to live there approximately in July when shelling of their district began. They have no toiled, shower or kitchen there. They have to leave the shelter to prepare food. Kolia lives there with his sisters who are 6 and 7 years old. He is student of 10-th form. He and his sisters don’t go to school because it’s too dangerous.
The video was released on October 7, 2014. Journalist shot the video during the so-called ceasefire when terrorist continued to shell residential areas of the city.
