Coordinator of ‘Information Resistance’ group and Member of Parliament Dmitriy Tymchuk informed this.
According to him, in course of the previous day the town was shelled with 120 mm mortars several times. In addition, the Russian-backed forces used tanks three times and 122 mm artillery.
Experts also informed about armed clash between group of fighters and Ukrainian forces. Fighters were trying to break through between 2 strongholds of anti-terrorist operation forces. After an intensive battle the enemy retreated under cover of mortar firing.
The settlement of Pisky near Donetsk was shelled with 82 mm mortar three times. Fighters also used small arms and heavy infantry weapons (including large caliber machine guns and grenade launchers).
Near village of Shyrokine in Mariupol direction fighters shelled positions of Ukrainian forces 6 times. They used mortars of 122 and 82 calibers. In addition, the advanced groups of fighters conducted intense firing with small arms forcing Ukrainian forces to retreat from their positions in western part of the village.
At least 2 mortar units act between Shyrokine and Pavlopil. They act in individual or paired mortar calculations, shell and then retreat.
Experts also inform about registering 6 armored vehicles near Shyrokine (including 2 tanks).
Previously press-center of anti-terrorist operation informed about decreased intensity of hostilities in Eastern Ukraine.
