The State Duma has recognized pseudo elections and demands Ukraine to do so

First Deputy Chairman of the Duma Committee for Public Associations and Religious organizations Mikhail Markelov said this. Markelov is a member of ‘United Russia’ political party – the leading political force in Russian Federation.

According to him, ‘we can already say with confidence that elections in Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics have taken place’ and they are essentially the continuation ‘of the process of legitimization of DNR and LNR authorities that was initiated with referendum in May’.

Meanwhile, parliamentary said that the question of recognition of the elections by Kyiv authorities remains open.

‘Kyiv is obliged to recognize results of the elections. And if we had many questions about organization and conduction of the recent voting in Ukraine, it concerns numerous registered violations, we have no claims to DNR and LNR’, – believes Markelov.

The deputy also expects ‘objective assessment of the elections by Europeans’, because ‘the question of war and peace is currently being decided in Donbas’.

The deputy believes that ‘legitimization of government in Donbas will lead to qualitatively different relation with Russia, which includes economic cooperation and help for the so-called ‘Novorossia’.

Current leader of DNR terrorists have won elections in this self-proclaimed republic.

Meanwhile, Security Service of Ukraine has intercepted conversation between 2 ‘curators’ in DNR concerning calculation of turnout and results of the so-called elections. It becomes clear from their conversation that the results of pseudo elections have been prepared in advance.
