State Duma of RF doesn’t believe Russian soldiers have been captured in Ukraine

State Duma of Russian Federation believes that application of Kyiv about capturing two Russian servicemen in Eastern Ukraine should be checked.

Head of Duma Committee on Defense Vladimir Komodoev said this.

He doesn’t believe that Ukrainian servicemen captured Russian soldiers and say they have nothing to do with Russian armed forces.

Russian Defense Ministry doesn’t give any commentaries so far.

Recently Ukrainian servicemen from Aidar regiment caught two Russian servicemen near the town of Shchastya.

One of them is Alexander Aleksandrov, sergeant from the Third Brigade of Special Fores in Togliatti (Russia). He is a contract sergeant and has been serving in Russian army since Decembe 12, 2012.

The news of capturing Russian servicemen was confirmed by National Security and Defense Council.

In addition, recently there has appeared video of interrogation of the captured servicemen.

Sergeant Zlxander Aleksandov said that he worked near the town of Shchastya. His group consisted of 14 people.

Another serviceman’s name is Eugene Yerofeev.
