Number of students studying in Ukrainian in the occupied Crimea ahs decreased significantly.
Crimean Human Rights Activist Olga Skrypnyk informed this on Ukrainian TV.
According to her, number of students studying in Ukraine has decreased six times.
On the legislative level of Russian Federation it is said that 3 languages – Ukrainian, language of Crimean Tatars and Russian – are freely distributed in Crimea. ‘However, this doesn’t correspond to real situation’, – Skrypnyk said.
According to her, the number of students studying in Ukrainian has decreased 6 times.
‘This happens on the example of ATR’, – she said.
ATR is channel of Crimean Tatars which ceased broadcasting on April because Russian services had refused to give in license.
The human right activist also mentioned that the Kremlin government solves problem of Crimean Tatars for itself, it doesn’t solve problems of Tatars.
