On September 10, for the first time in many months not a single shot was made in zone of anti-terrorist operation.
Unian reports this with reference to press-center of anti-terrorist operation.
The day of September 10 didn’t bring unpleasant surprises. On the night of September 11, from midnight to 06.00 am the ceasefire was not violated as well.
The headquarter emphasizes that the complete ceasefire gives Ukrainian more possibilities to restore destroyed infrastructure, normalize transport and logistic connections and conduct more active work on demining of territory.
Meanwhile Defense Minister of Ukraine Stepan Poltorak has informed that withdrawal of servicemen and weapons from Donbas has not been registered.
‘We do not observe single withdrawal of tank, armored vehicles or soldier. All sub-units of Russian Armed Forces which were located on the territory of Ukraine remain there today,’ – Poltorak said.
He has said that he cannot confirm information that Russia allegedly withdraws its troops from Donbas to relocate them to Syria.
Poltorak has also informed that currently 9 000 Russian servicemen are located in Ukraine. From 50 to 55 000 servicemen have taken positions close to Ukrainian border.
In addition, Russia has about 400 tanks and enough of artillery systems in Donbas.
The Defense Ministry checks information concerning building of new Russian military base close to Ukrainian border.
‘This information is preliminary, we’re checking what kind of base is this and what danger it has for Ukraine,’ – Poltorak said.
