How Russian soldiers prove they fight in Ukraine by making selfies

VICE News correspondent Simon Ostrovsky has made an investigation in which he followed digital breadcrumbs of acting Russian soldier Bato Dambaev on his way from military unit in Russian Federation to Ukrainian Donbas and back again to Russia.

All the evidence was taken from Bato’s profile in social network VK.com.

What is the use of Russia lying about absence of its troops in Eastern Ukraine if soldiers post more than enough evidence online?

[Editor] Although they deny it afterwards, the evidence already exists posted to the whole world.

What is horrible is that soldiers are not ashamed at all. They go to nearby country to kill people in undeclared war and just go back if they are lucky to survive.

This was is horrible because of lies it has been wrapped into. Do these soldiers think they do it all right when they come to Ukraine to kill?
