On July 20 Russian frontier guards let 175 cars pass through the checkpoint ‘Donetsk’ in Rostov region, despite the fact that the adjoining checkpoint ‘Izvaryne’ in Lugansk region had been closed by Ukrainian government on May 12, 2014.
This is reported by ‘Segodnya’ referring to the website of Southern Customs Department of RF.
‘601 cars have been registered passing to Russian territory through the customs sheckpoint ‘Donetsk’ in Rostov region. 175 cars were registered to leave Russian territory through this checkpoint’, – it is said in the statement on the website.
Meanwhile passing of vehicles and people through the checkpoints Novoshahtynsk, Gukovo and Kuybysheve was stopped ‘due to closing of adjoining checkpoints in Ukraine’.
