Russian Minister of Foreign Affairs Sergey Lavrov said that Russian-American relations have ‘reached the bottom’ and agreed that currently they could be called ‘the cold war’.
The news website Gordon.ua reports this.
Speaking on Monday, October 20, 2014 with open lection in the framework of the project ‘Civil university’ by ‘United Russia’ political party. Lavrov mentioned that current period of cooling in relations between the two countries would be long.
He connected this perspective with necessity of extensive international efforts to resolve the Ukrainian crisis.
Lavrov did not exclude that the ‘scenario that has happened in Ukraine’ might repeat in respect of Moldova and Transnistria.
Head of Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs believes that Transnistria would have the right to determine its own future if Kishinev abandons its current military-political non-aligned status.
Editor: if to speak clearly, Sergey Lavrov openly admits that Russia has created the current situation in Ukraine and threatens another country with the same scenario.
