Convoy with so-called humanitarian aid makes its way to Ukraine.
Russian Federation violates international norms for 28th time.
In the morning of May 28 new columns of so-called Russian humanitarian convoy started to Ukraine.
According to Russian officials, the column consists of 100 trucks that carry 1000 tons of ‘humanitarian aid’.
They ensure that trucks carry food including pasta, oil, semolina, rice, buckwheat etc. for residents of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Trucks are also supposed to bring building materials and medicine.
This column is the 28th case of so-called Russian ‘humanitarian aid’ for Donbas.
We remind that such humanitarian load is delivered to Ukraine with violations of international standards. Ukrainian border guards and customs service haven’t had a single opportunity to examine the humanitarian trucks. Not a single convoy was accompanies by representatives of the Red Cross.
Ukrainian side and international community believe that these humanitarian convoys are used by Russia to deliver ammunition and other assistance for illegal military formations in Ukrainian Donbas.
