Russia lets pass terrorists and weapon to Ukraine

June 11, 2014 – The latter was mentioned in the commentary of State Department of Informational politics concerning the violation of Ukrainian country boarder by Russia.

It is emphasized in the document that Ukrainian Ministry of International Affairs condemns the facts of violation. In spite of all demands of Ukrainian government and international community Russia doesn’t stop to violate border.

It is pointed out that Russian side breaches its treatise obligations: ‘Paragraph 8 of Treatise between Ukraine and Russia about cooperation and interaction concerning frontier issues from 1994 presupposes coordinated measures for prevention of terrorism and illegal weapon transportation and other contraband, illegal immigration and emigration’.

As it was mentioned in MIA since June 5, 2014 Ministry Cabinet of Ukraine took a decision to temporally stop passing though several checkpoints in Donetsk and Lugansk oblast. Russia was officially informed about the decision.

MIA representatives added that by ignoring its obligations Russia actually sponsors international terrorism and makes no obstacles to criminals crossing Ukrainian border. Authorization of Vladimir Putin to enforce the regime of protection of Ukrainian-Russian border that was informed through media actually remains to be another declaration.

That is why Ukraine demands Russia to stop rude violation of all the possible norms of international law and international relations.

‘International community expects not declarations but concrete actions for creation of appropriate conditions for the implementation of the peace plan in eastern areas of our country’, – MIA underlined.
