On May 9 Russia plans massive release of prisoners so that they would join the ranks of terrorists in Eastern Ukraine.
Advisor to the Head of Security Service of Ukraine Markiyan Lubkivskiy informed this during press briefing.
‘On May 9 there is planned a big amnesty in Russian Federation’. The prisoners released after the amnesty are supposed to join the ranks of militants in fight against Ukraine.
According to Mr. Libkivskiy, this fact proves that Russia won’t stop easily and today a deliberate war is being conducted.
Mr. Lubkivskiy mentioned that the information had come to SSU from operative sources.
‘I don’t mean to scare someone or create anxiety, but I want all of us to know that today extremely active and aggressive war is being waged against us and we have to be prepared for the fact the we will need to defend our country’, – the advisor said.
May 9, 2015 is the 70th anniversary of the Soviet victory in the Great Patriotic War. Although the WWII finished several months later, Russia and other post-Soviet countries celebrate May 9 as Day of Great Victory.
