International military training has started in Ukraine
Spokesperson for Information and Analytical centre of National Security and Defense Council colonel Andriy Lysenko reported this during daily press briefing in Kyiv.
International military exercises Rapid Trident 2014 have started at a military camp of the town of Central of International Peacekeeping and Security Centre of Army Academy named after Hetman Sagaydachniy. About 1300 militants from 15 countries will participate in it.
In general 700 units of weapon and more than 50 military vehicles and fighting achiness will be used during the training.
It should be noted that all medical equipment for the training corresponds to international standards. In order to provide favourable conditions for the preservation of life and health of participants of the trainings brigade of doctors and a reanimation vehicle will be constantly on duty there.
The training will last until September 26. They do not presuppose live firing. The Pentagon stated that maneuvers will increase functional interoperability of troops of USA, Ukraine and other countries-participants.
