Week review by coordinator of ‘Information Resistance’ group Dmytro Tymchuk. Most important events for October 6-12.
President Poroshenko has signed the law on Lustration. The parliament has adopted the law on creation of the National anti-corruption bureau in the first reading.
People have been waiting for these steps since Maidan Revolution. The law on Lustration was adopted by the parliament of September 16, 2014. It has been waiting for almost a month to be signed by the President.
According to Dmytro Tymchuk, it is difficult to say how many pre-election PR and real intention to cure the most chronic illnesses of Ukraine are there in these decisions [pre-term parliamentary election are scheduled for October 26].
Anyway, this is the first step, the beginning of the road. Everything else depends of Ukrainian people.
