President Poroshenko announced 3 agreements achieved in Milan

President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has met with Russian President Vladimir Putin during X Summit Forum ‘Asia-Europe’. The breakfast of the two presidents lasted almost hour and a half.

Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renz, British Prime Minister David Cameron, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, French President François Hollande, and heads of the European Commission Jose Manuel Barroso and Herman Van Rompuy have also attended the negotiation.

After this Italian Prime Minister has said that an important step has been made in discussion about Ukraine. According to Barroso, despite the fact that there is some disagreement, there is a desire to find solution and the first step in the discussion has been made.

On the eve of that meeting President Pororshenko had meetings with President of the European Council Herman Van Rompuy, European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso, German Chancellor Angela Merkel, Prime Minister of Italy Matteo Renzo and the President of the Italian Republic Giorgio Napolitano.

During the meeting officials discussed the importance of full and immediate implementation of Minsk agreements from September 5 and 19, 2014, the necessity of expansion of OSCE observation mission for monitoring of Ukrainian-Russian border and improvement of technical support.

After the meeting the Head of State mentioned that European leaders had demonstrated ‘unity and solidarity with Ukraine’.

Recently journalist Ruslan Deychenko has informed in his twitter that Petro Poroshenko has announced 3 points of agreement that has been achieved in Milan:

1 – all agreement of Minsk memorandum must be implemented

2- promoting election in the Donbas

3 – some progress on gas issues.

Previously European Commission President Jose Manuel Barroso has reported that Putin and Poroshenko have agreed about full implementation of Minsk protocol.
