The issuing of foreign passports in the occupied Crimea starts on October 22. Federal Migration Service of Russian Federation informs that.
‘FMS of Russia begins to issue foreign passports for residents of Crimea. The Migration Service began to receive documents for the issue of foreign passports in the beginning of September this year. Currently Crimeans have filed about 3 000 requests’, – the department informs.
The first center for registration of foreign passports was opened on September 11 in Simferopol. They promise to open 3 analogical centers until the end of the year – one more in Simferopol and in Kerch and Yalta.
It should be noted that very limited number of countries recognized incorporation of Crimea into Russian Federation: Azerbaijan, Venezuela, Zimbabve, Belarus, Abkhazia.
