Armed fighters and Russian frontier guards have organised passing at the checkpoint ‘Dolzhanskiy’ without permission.
June 10, 2014 – The head of the Centre of Military Political Studies and the coordinator of ‘Information Resistance’ group Dmytro Tymchuck wrote about the mentioned news on his Facebook page.
He mentions that Russian frontier guards cooperate with terrorists.
Earlier Ukrainian State Border Service informed about blocking of a number of checkpoints at border with Russia ‘because of safety situation in the region’.
On June 5 Ministry Cabinet of Ukraine approved the decision to stop passing through a number of checkpoints in Luganska and Donetska oblast. Checkpoint ‘Dolzhanskiy’ was included in the list.
According to active treaties between Ukraine and RF in case of blocking of a checkpoint by one country the other one is obliged to do the same.
The ‘Information Resistance’ group mentioned that Russian government had been informed on the issue of blocking of 8 checkpoints (including ‘Dolzhanskiy’).
Tymchuk underlines that the Russian side violates bilateral basis working closely with the terrorists.
