Operative data about war in Donbas

Here is an operative data on situation in Eastern Ukraine as of morning of January 21.

Yesterday attention of Ukrainian mass media was directed at checkpoints # 29 and 31 which were attacked by Russian-terrorist forces. Commander of volunteer regiment ‘Donbas’ Semen Semenchenko informed about the attacks.

This morning the headquarters of anti-terrorist operation informed that the night in this area has been tense. Ukrainian armed forces stopped offense at the mentioned checkpoints.

Spokesperson of ATO Leonid Matiukhin informed about current regrouping of Ukrainian forces near checkpoints #29 and 31.

Yesterday Ukrainian servicemen had to retreat from checkpoint #31 in order to save lives of soldiers. According to advisor to the president Yuriy Biriukov, this retreat was kind of trap which helped to encircle armed groups of the enemy.

Yesterday since 06.00 pm Russian-terrorist forces started shelling Ukrainian forces near the village of Donetskiy.

The information about situation in Donetsk airport is quite scarce. ATO spokesperson Mr.Matiukhin refused to give detailed answers to journalists’ questions. He only underlined that information should not be published in order to ensure that Ukrainian servicemen can perform their duty to free the airport of terrorists.

In general, during the last day positions of Ukrainian armed forces were shelled 76 times. Russian-terrorist forces used different types of weapons – artillery (including multiple rocket launcher systems BM-21 ‘Grad’), mortars, small arms.

I have absolutely no knowledge of computer programming however I was hoping to start my own blog in the near future. Anyhow, if you have any suggestions or tips for new blog owners please share.
I know this is off topic but I just needed to ask. Thanks a lot!
