NSDC: Establishment of the regime of silence. Ukrainian Armed Forces lost 3 servicemen during the last day, 12 were wounded

NSDC: Terrorists do not adhere to newly established regime of silence

Spokesperson for Information and Analysis Center for National Security and Defense Council colonel Andriy Lysenko informed this during daily press briefing in Kyiv.

Situation in the area of anti-terrorist operation remains tense. Yesterday representatives of trilateral observation mission agreed to impose ‘the regime of silence / ceasefire’ from 06.30 pm.

However, terrorists violated the agreements again. The shelling of positions of Ukrainian armed forces went on, although it was not as intensive as during the day.

During the last day National Security and Defense Council has registered shelling in the area of Donetsk airport and settlements of Nikishyne, Orlovo-Ivanivka and Novoorlivka.

There was registered shelling near the settlements of Shchastya and Triokhizbenka with mortars and small arms. Terrorists also shelled the positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces near the settlements of Tonenke, Krasnohorivka, Oleksandrivka and Donetskiy with ‘Grad’ multiple rocket launcher systems.

During the last day, 3 people were released from hostage.

NSDC didn’t register any armed clashes in parts of Ukrainian-Russian border controlled by Ukrainian Armed Forces. There were no cases of violation of Ukrainian air space. However, the enemy continues aerial reconnaissance in the area of Mariupol. The flying drone was registered near the settlement of Shyrokine.

During the last day the forces of anti-terrorist operation lost 3 servicemen, 12 were injured.
