NSDC reports about possible provocations with usage of stolen Ukrainian military equipment

Spokesperson for Information and Analysis Center of National Security and Defense Council colonel Andriy Lysenko reported this during daily press briefing in Kyiv.

Yesterday at 07.10 pm another fact of Russian aerial reconnaissance was registered. The drone was flying in direction to Mariupol. In this regard, NSDC informs that officers of Donetsk garrison have worked out a complex of actions in order to neutralize potential threat for Mariupol. It included interaction with militants that serve on the first and the second lines of defense. Currently the equipment of checkpoints of the third defense line is in process.

Donetsk airport remains to be the chief goal of terrorists

Rotation of terrorists has been registered in the ATO zone. According to operative data, Russian troops are being withdrawn from the first front line to the line of Russian border. Terrorists of the self-proclaimed DNR and LNR [Donetsk and Luhansk People’s Republics] come in their place. These terrorists have been trained in special field camps of Armed Forces of Russian Fedration n the area of Rostov-on-Don [Russia]. In particular, yesterday several columns of vehicles [10 vehicles each] passed through ‘Uspenka’ checkpoint and entered Ukrainian territory.

NSDC warns about possible provocations of Russian-terrorist troops

NSDC underlines that the reconnaissance has registered transfer of military equipment with Ukrainian markings that has been seized in the occupied Crimea. In addition to the fact of outright theft of Ukrainian property this is the possibility of provocations in the form of shelling of settlements of Donbas under the guise of Ukrainian Armed Forces.
