Another 6 Ukrainian hostages released from captivity. – NSDC
Spokesperson for Information and Analytical Center of National Security and Defense Council [NSDC] reported this during daily press briefing in Kyiv.
Yesterday fighters made unsuccessful attempts to assault at positions of Ukrainian army near the settlements of Avdiivka and Nikishyne in Donetsk oblast. All the attacks were repelled and terrorists suffered losses. There were another cases of shelling of Ukrainian militatns, in particular – in Donetsk airport.
From about 11.00 pm of September 22, 2014 ceasing of shelling was registered.
Ukrainian army didn’t suffer losses during the last day.
Another 6 Ukrainian militants have been released from captivity. Currently they receive medical and psychological help.
During the last day, there were no armed clashes between Ukrainian border guards with illegal criminal gangs of Russian troops. The relocation of Russian troops is being registered at Ukrainian-Russian border. There is a rotation of military units – some of them leave Ukrainian territory, come instead. Enemy also continues training of fighters in military training centers on its territory.
The violations of Ukrainian air space by Russian drones is not being registered for the second day in a row. Instead, the state border Guard Service registers movement and work of vehicles that catty out radar surveillance in border areas.
The situation in Mariupol remains calm and controlled. The control mode and bypass on checkpoints around the town has been re-established. According to NSDC spokesperson engineering and fortification equipment of checkpoints and general area of town defense continues.
There continues split in the range of terrorists. Yesterday there was an armed clash between fighters of illegal groups ‘Oplot’ and ‘Kalmius’ in Donetsk city. During the firefight 5 militants from ‘Kalmius’ armed group were killed.
