Terrorists near the town of Debaltsevo are relocating

National Security and Defense Council reports about conflicts and firefights between terrorists gangs in Donbas and new cases of shelling of Donetsk airport

Spokesperson for Information Analytic Center of National Security and Defense Council colonel Anrdiy Lysenko reported this.

The situation in Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts remains tense. Terrorists continue to violate the ceasefire agreements and shell positions of the forces of anti-terrorist operation.

The increasing of conflicts between terrorist gangs is observed. As a result, there emerge firefights between different gangs, sometimes they even use mortars and artillery.

Situation in the area of Donetsk airport and also in the area of Mariupol, Debaltsevo and Shchastay remains most tense. During the day there were registered numerous cases of shelling of Donetsk airport. Russian-terrorist troops used mortars and small arms. Also they shelled positions of Ukrainian armed forces near the settlement of Nikishyne, Starognativka, Ridkodub.

The relocation of armoured vehicles and terrorist in the area of town of Debaltsevo is being registered.

Besides, terrorists located near Donetsk made several shots from ‘Grad’ multiple rocket launcher systems and mortars in direction to the town of Avdiivka.

Ukraine continues cooperation with OSCE for effective monitoring of the ceasefire regime in the Donbas. Till the end of this week 25 new members will arrive to Donetsk and Luhansk departments of the mission. First drones for the OSCE mission will be delivered from Austria soon.

During the last day there were no losses among Ukrainian servicemen. 5 soldiers were wounded.
