Savchenko’s lawyer Nikolai Polozov wrote it on his twitter. According to the attorney, Nadia Savchenko recognized her abductor.
‘Nadia Savchenko saw on TV and recognized one of her abductors. It is the former commander of ‘Zorya’ battalion, and current leader of LNR [Luhansk People’s Republic] Igor Plotnitsky’, – he wrote. Polozov mentioned that Plotnitsky commanded the group that took Savchenko from the city of Luhansk to transfer her to officers of Federal Security Service of Russian Federation on the border of Ukraine and Russia.
As we informed previously, Nadia Savchenko had been abducted in Donbas and then she had been transferred to Russia. There she was accused of death of 2 Russian journalists near Luhansk. She was kept in the jail in Voronezh until mid-July. Then she was taken to Moscow for a psychiatric examination.
Savchenko’s attorneys claim that the accusation against their client is falsified. However, Moscow court creates all possible obstacles for justice.
On October 27 Basman Court of Moscow on the request of investigators prolonged the term of Detention until February 13, 2015.
Of October 28 Investigatin Committee of the Russian Federation started another criminal case against Savchenko – for illegal crossing of the border. It should be noted that previously Russian investigators of this criminal case used to say that Savchenko came to Russian as refugee.
