More than 20 fighters that have been captured near Lysychansk have Russian citizenship

UNIAN was informed about this in the press service of the President.

According to the report, on July 20 at night the terrorists made an attempt to break out of the town of Lysychansk in Lugansk region. By order of the commander of the armed forces the column of armoured vehicles was destroyed: 3 armoured vehicles were destroyed, 23 fighters including the wounded leader were captured.

‘There are representatives of Chechen nationality among the prisoners. All fighters have Russian citizenship’, – it is said in the report.

They also add in the press service that the sweeping of Rubizhne (Lugansk region) is in process.

As UNIAN has informed, according to data from Defense Minister Valeriy Galatey during the last 24 hours 35 fighters have been captured.
