On the Independence Suqare in the center of Kyiv there is a meeting in memory of Borys Nemtsov.
According to reportage by Channel 5 people bring flowers and candles to the Independence Square. In this way they commemorate Russian oppositionist Borys Nemtsov.
The meeting was organized via social networks. The decision to gather on the main square of Kyiv was taken because Nemtsov himself had visited it many times during Orange Revolution on 2004 and Revolution of Dignity in 2014. The meeting began at noon.
People brought poster which says ‘Putin killed my friend’. Several participants of the meeting brought other posters where they wrote appeals to Russian government to stop destroying its opponents.
Russian oppositionist Borys Nemnstrov was murdered on the night of 27 to 28 of February in center of Moscow. Inknown people shot him in back several times. Nemtsov died almost immediately.
