As it is informed in the statement of LNR [Luhansk People’s Republic], on October 22 the leader of the self-proclaimed LNR Igor Plotnistskiy issued a decree on transition to Russian time at 03.00 am on October 26. The given decision is delivered to all authorities, businesses and residents of LNR’ – says the statement.
Previously commandment of the self-proclaimed DNR [Donetsk People’s Republic] informed about switching to Moscow time.
Since 1996 Ukraine switches to winter time on the last Sunday of October, and to the summer time – on the last Sunday of March.
The difference with Russian time is minus 2 hour in winter and minus 1 hour in summer.
