April 11. The Kremlin will try to consolidate separatist groups in southern and eastern Ukraine ahead of the Victory Day on May 9.
Chairman of the Center for Military and Political Studies and Coordinator of the Information Resistance Group Dmytro Tymchuk said this at a press conference in Kyiv on Friday, a Ukrinform correspondent reported.
“Yesterday reports said that separatists had received the instruction to start the ‘Russian Spring’ until May 9 so as to finally shatter the situation before this landmark date for the Russians and, taking advantage of anti-fascist slogans, take a large number of people to the streets of Ukrainian cities. It’s currently difficult to predict whether this plan could be realized,” Tymchuk said.
