There are continuing battles in order to establish control over the ‘Marynivsk corridor’. During the last day terrorists counterattacked Savur Mohyla hill controlled by Ukrainian forces. They were trying to return under their control the position from which they used to shell Ukrainian armed forces.
Instead Ukrainian soldiers successfully repelled all the attacks. As a result 100 fighters, 10 armoured vehicles and 12 artillery guns were destroyed. According to data from the State border service the fire support for the terrorists at Savur Mohyla was carried out by Russian militants from the area of village of Novooleksandrivske. The ‘Grad’ systems were firing at a distance of 200-300 metres from Ukrainian border.
The ATO forces moving in direction to the settlement of Pervomaisk released the settlement of Stepanivka.
Ukrainian militants have entered the town of Shahtarsk and Torez in Donetsk oblast and Lytygino in Luhansk oblast. At the moment there are battles for liberation of the town of Pervomaisk in Luhansk region [oblast] and Snizhne in Donetsk region [oblast].
Duirng the last 24 hours the ATO aviation forces have performed 10 flights. Artillery has carried out 5 massive fire strikes at the position of terrorists that were located outside of settlements. As a result a significant number of manpower and armoured military vehicles was destroyed.
There continuing shellings of the positions of ATO forces from the territory of Russian Federation. Thus during the last 24 hours the positions at the settlements of Stanytsya Luhanska, border checkpoint ‘Krasna talivka’ and position at Savur Mohyla hill have been shelled. At Krasna Talivka the border units were caught in fires in zone of radio controlled bombs. Ukrainian border guard destroyed the positions of terrorists.
As a result of military actions 10 soldiers died and 55 were injured during the last 24 hours. All the wounded are delivered to hospitals and given proper medical care.
There’s an ongoing relocation of armed forces of RF close to Ukrainian border.
