Ukrainian General Staff is not going to exchange Russian officers of Main Intelligence Department for Ukrainian prisoners.

Spokesperson of the General Staff Vladyslav Seleznyov informed this.

‘These guys aren’t war prisoners, we cannot recognize them as war prisoners due to legal status of our country today. But they are terrorists who have committed crime because they have killed servicemen participating in ATO. So that Ukrainian competent investigators have task to establish degree of involvement of each of them in the murder of Ukrainian military’, – he said.

Security Service of Ukraine informs that it will try prisoners for terrorism.

Previously it was confirmed that detained servicemen are officers of Russia Main Intelligence Department.

Moscow said that they are formed officers and demanded to stop ‘tortures’ and liberate them.

We remind that two Russian servicemen – Alexander Aleksandrov and Eugene Yerofeev – were detained on May 16. The sais they were officers of Russian Main Intelligence Department, but then one of men began to deny it.
