Major General, representative of General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces Alexander Rozmaznin informed this during press briefing at Ukraine Media Crisis Center.

Rotation of Russian army in Donbas

When commenting rotation of regular troops of Russian Federation, Major General Rozmaznin has mentioned that this is a usual thing for servicemen cannot stand psychological pressure and don’t understand what they are fighting for.

The General Staff of Ukrainian Armed Forces has intercepted reports of commanders of Russian military units illegally located at Ukrainian territory. The documents of intercepted conversation confirm the fact of great losses of the Russian army. The report of December 2 says that during the 2 days of hostilities in the area of Donetsk airport 299 Russian servicemen have been killed. 190 militants have been wounded, including 96 with severe injuries, 171 people are missing.

When answering the question about presence of missile systems ‘Iskander’ on the territory of the occupied Crimea, Rozmaznin informed the following: ‘These complexes are n service in Russian Federation. Division of ‘Iskander’ entered the territory of the occupied Crimea. I’ll say that this is definitely bad bcause every missile system is able to carry nuclear warheads of certain power in their shells. So that the very existence of ‘Iskander’ complexes suggests that there is a threat’.

 

Previously we have reported that, according to Major General Alexander Rozmaznin, more that 30 000 of militants fight in Donbas on the terrorist side.
