General Prosecutor’s office of Ukraine prepares materials for Hague about crimes of Russia and self-proclaimed DNR and LNR against Ukraine.
By the end of April General Prosecutor’s office will finish preparation of materials to apply to Hague tribunal concerning crimes committed by Russia and representatives of DNR and LNR on Ukrainian territory.
Deputy prosecutor General Vitaliy Kasko informed this.
He reminded that in February Verkhovna Rada adopted an application to the Hague tribunal concerning crimes of Russian Federation government and the so-called DNR and LNR. The statement said that Russian leaders and self-proclaimed republics are guilty of mass murders and war crimes in Ukraine.
In correspondence to statement of Verkhovna rada government and General Prosecutor’s Office prepare evidence base so that the Hague tribunal prosecutor’s Office investigates crimes that Ukraine believes were committed by leaders of Russian Federation and representatives of self-proclaimed Donetsk and Luhansk republics in Crimea and Eastern Ukraine.
According to Prosecutor General’s Deputy preparation of materials for Hague tribunal is on the final stage, they are being examined by international experts. Materials will be sent to Hague by the end of April.
