The commander of regiment ‘Azov’ Andriy Biletskiy reported this on broadcast of TV channel 24.
Biletskiy said that he didn’t observe international observers helping Ukrainian army. Quite opposite, hi thinks that there is a serious Russian influence over the observers. The commander of ‘Azov’ supposes that that the international observers play along with terrorists.
Biletskiy informed that on the day of announcement of ceasefire regime Ukrainian troops had actually retreated to Mariupol and Russian troops had retreated to Novoazovsk. There should have been established a 40 km buffer zone. This never happened.
Every day Russian troops used the fact the Ukrainian Armed Forces stayed in their positions and moved further. currently they are located close to positions of Ukrainian troops near Mariupol, they have ‘eaten’ this 40 km zone.
Anrdiy Biletskiy is interested how OSCE is going to carry out distribution: according to positions of troops at the moment of announcement of the ceasefire or according to current positions?
It should be noted that yesterday spokesperson for National Security and Defense Council Andriy Lysenko claimed that since the announcement of ceasefire on September 5 Ukrainian troops hadn’t retreated. In fact, even according to the maps issued by NSDC, territory controlled by Ukrainian troops decreased.
