On May 7 they shelled positions of Ukrainian Armed Forces 40 times.
Coordinator of ‘information Resistance’ group Dmitriy Tymchuk informed this.
He underlined that fighters often used weapon of more than 100 mm caliber. We remind that these types of weapon are banned by Minsk agreement.
According to Dmitriy Tymchuk, in additions to so-called traditional shelling of Donetsk and Mariupol sectors fighters were active in Artemivsk and Luhansk sectors.
In particular, Russia-backed fighters delivered fire strikes at settlements of Pisky, Opynte, Avdiivka, Shyrokine, Hranitne, Luhanske, Svitlodarsk, Mayorsk, Kurdiumivka, Zolote, Rosadky, Lozove, Sokilnyky, Triokhizbenka, Stanytsya Lyhansk and Krymske.
In Luhansk sector terrorists used large caliber guns, 120 mm caliber mortars and automatic grenade launchers in combination with attempts of sabotage reconnaissance to penetrate into tactical rear of Ukrainian forces.
Tymchuk also mentioned that when shelling Shyrokine fighters used 122 mm caliber artillery, 120 mm caliber mortars. Near settlements of Pisky and Opytne there was registered movement of several fire groups that used armored vehicles (infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carrier).
