Spokesperson of anti-terrorist operation colonel Andriy Lysenko informed this during daily press briefing in Kyiv.
He informed about activation of reconnaissance and sabotage groups of fighters in Donetsk and Luhansk directions. The aerial reconnaissance of fighters activated as well. In course of the last day Ukrainian registered flight of 9 enemy’s drones.
In addition, on March 8 pro-Russian forces shelled positions of forces of anti-terrorist operation more than 40 times. The situation remains tensest in directions of Donetsk, Mariupol and Artemivsk [see map above for more info about shelling].
According to spokesperson Lysenko, fighters do not allow representatives of special monitoring mission of OSCE to observe the process of withdrawal of heavy military equipment. ‘So that illegal armed groups can continue carrying out maneuvers in preparation for new clashes’, – says Lysenko.
