According to correspondent of UNIAN, a stage was installed neat to St. Basili’s Cathedral. It has words ‘We are together’ shining on it. The participants of the public action fill embankments of Moscow River.
The installed huge screens broadcast speech of Vladimir Putin which he announced on March 18, 2014 to provide grounds for Russian annexation of Crimean peninsula.
The participant of public action hold banners which say ‘Thanks Putin for Crimea’, ‘Crimea + Sevastopol = Russia’, ‘Happy together’, ‘I’m proud of my country’, ‘Returning Crimea – triumph of justice’.
Most of inscriptions on banners are alike. However, participants of the action assure they have made them themselves.
Meanwhile, some people do not hide the fact that they are workers in different utilities service of Moscow, schools, hospitals and other budgetary organizations.
The official part of the meeting is followed by concert of Russian pop stars.
In addition, flags of self-proclaimed terrorist republics of Donbas can be spotted in the ‘celebrating’ crowd.
