6 person internally displaced family at their new place

This video is brought to you by non-governmental organization #Babylon’13 as part of their series of short films about internally displaced people in Ukraine.

A very positive mother of a big family tells their story to the filming team.

They left Donbas and headed to the town of Pavlograd in Dnipropetrovsk oblast where they knew nobody but a friend of their friend whom they had never seen.

Today the family rents a detached house, almost all furniture they have was given to them by ordinary people. There’re pictures of detached house on the walls. The family used to live in an apartment, now they want to live in a house of their own where they’ve have already distributed the imaginary rooms.

The mother says it was very hard leaving your home for an unknown place, not knowing whether you’d have something to eat, something to sleep on or something to wear. This is an experience she would never wish someone to have.

Still the family hopes that things change for better in future.
