Current situation in the conflict zone remains difficult: terrorists violate the truce, Ukrainian militants only fire back

Operative data from Information Resistance group

The situation in the Donbas region remains difficult. Ukrainian armed forces carry out measures to fortify their defense, restore combat units, repel attacks and neutralize subversive reconnaissance groups of the enemy.

Russian continue to cynically violate ceasefire and shell positions of Ukrainian armed forces. During this night the positions of Ukrainian troops at the territory of Donetsk airport have been shelled 3 times. The shelling was carried out with mortars. There also was shelling of another positions of Ukrainian army with Grad multiple rocket launcher systems and mortars.

According to the data from Information Resistance group terrorists carry out regrouping of their forces in number of regions in Donetsk oblast. Simultaneously some part of Russian troops are being withdrawn to Russian territory.

However, instructors of Russian regular army remain at Ukrainian territory and prepare groups of local fighters.

In particular, in Donetsk oblast there has been registered a concentration of fighters (about 1000 people). Russian militants train them every day.

According to the last data, there is possibility that Russian mercenaries might prepare provocation to disrupt the truce. They bring Grad multiple rocket launcher systems to Donetsk. There is information that they plan to shell the city and put the blame on Ukrainian troops. However, it should be mentioned that Ukrainian armed forces adhere to the truce and start firing only in response to the enemy’s attacks. Moreover, Ukrainian militants currently do not use heavy artillery (multiple rocket launchers in particular) and aviation.
