On Monday July 7 the plan of evacuation of civilians from the ATO zone will be announced
An arranged evacuation of civilians (inhabitants of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk first of all) from the ATO zone will start next week.
According to UNIAN correspondent the news was reported by counselor of Minister of Internal Affairs Zoryan Shkiryak during a briefing. On Monday July 7 the plan of evacuation of civilians from the ATO zone will be announced.
State Emergency Service equips transit checkpoints for internally displaced people. Shkiryak mentioned that first of all inhabitants of Kramatorsk and Slovyansk would be evacuated. He informed that civilians would be evacuated to Kharkiv region in direction to Barvinkove.
Shkiryak disproved the information of Russian mass media about the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people from the ATO zone. He mentioned that it is difficult to predict the number of people that would leave the ATO zone. According to him, one can speak of thousands but not tens of hundreds of thousands.
Besides, according to Shkiryak, the police will keep a keen eye on the process of evacuation so that fighters cannot leave under the guise of civilians. He assured that police disposes information concerning people belonging to different terrorists and fighters organizations and they will not manage to leave the ATO zone like civilians.
Shkiryak mentioned that plans of evacuation of inhabitants of Donetsk and Lugansk region have been practiced.
